Proud to be in recovery with multiple years clean, Duane can empathise and relate to the challenges people may face when embarking on their recovery journey. Having now also worked in mental health and addiction services, Duane believes in the importance of engaging with community services post treatment and the lifelong recovery path.
Since leaving treatment he has completed a NVQ Health and social care level 3 qualification alongside volunteering at Inclusion drug and alcohol service.
He has vast experience in supporting vulnerable clients who are detoxing and fearful of what the future may hold for them.
Outside of work, Duane enjoys many activities to include clay pigeon shooting, go karting, cinema, eating out and going on holidays! He likes to keep fit by playing football and bouncing on a trampoline with his six-year-old son!
